Minimalism and stopping cues

Minimal Monday: Muji House inspiration

Having lived in our current house for over 10 years (coming on 13, to be precise), we're thinking of sprucing it up a bit. A couple of kids using it as their playground/sketchbook/canvas/gladiator arena for the last decade is taking its toll.

The more we talk about it, especially my oldest son and I, the more we're leaning towards something minimal along the lines of the Muji Houses.

Lots of white, which is nice, and lots of open space, which is even nicer. Our humble abode doesn't boast quite as much space as the one in these pictures, but a bit of shifting stuff around could open things up a bit more.

We're still very much in the 'project planning' phase, but it should be fun!
