Yep. The story behind Mies van der Rohe's iconic Farnsworth House is going to be made into a film starring Jeff Bridges as Van der Rohe and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Edith Farnsworth.
The house probably ranks up there with Flank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water in terms of recognizability, and it'll be interesting to see if the story behind it will interest those not quite as interested in design as people like us.
Apparently the two got on well - some say very well - when the project started, although they weren't exactly best buddies by the end. Not exactly Romeo and Juliet, although let's wait and see.
It could well turn out to be a classic in the mould of the house that inspired it.
