I like this. これ好き。
The song is called 明日へ (asu he, meaning 'to tomorrow') by Galileo Galilei.
I can't really put my finger on why I like this, but I do.
The unedited version of the brilliant jazz-loving French cows. Via Swiss Miss
I was tidying my CD collection the other day and (re)discovered some great minimalist cover designs.
In no particular order, some of my personal favourites are:
|
Sigur Rós: ( ) Perhaps my favourite album ever, ( ) also features a fantastic cover. |
The Beatles: The White Album It doesn't get much more minimalist than this. |
|
Muse: Origin of Symmetry I love the illustration here. |
Stina Nordenstam: Dynamite My favourite solo artist by far. Fantastic artist, fantastic album, fantastic cover. |
|
New Order: Substance Bold type, very simple, brilliant album. |
Pet Shop Boys: Actually The first Pet Shop Boys album I bought. On vinyl. |
|
Justice: † Bold image dominates the cover. |
Björk: Debut Amazing debut album with a great, simple image. |
|
Nine Inch Nails: Ghosts I-IV I just really like the look of this. |
Moby: Destroyed The image is very stark and I like the contrast with the LCD display. |
