storm from the east is a
Tokyo-based web magazine and creative agency. Started in March 2006, our web magazine attracts an ever-increasing number of
readers from Asia, Europe, North and South America and Africa.
Our creative agency provides design, consulting, copywriting, research and pr services to domestic and international clients.
Richard Knobbs (Founder/Editor)
Richard is originally from the UK and has lived in Tokyo for ten years. His work has appeared in numerous print and web publications throughout the world.
He enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, running, kick-boxing, surfing, skateboarding, writing and cooking.

Hiromitsu Honda
Hiro is a designer and writer born and raised in Tokyo and London. He's married with two children and spends his spare time is surfing, taking pictures and making films.
