Six of the best: World Cup logos

With the World Cup upon us, what better time to have a look at some great World Cup logos?

Here are our top six:

Uruguay 1930: The first one and it's great. How good would that look on a t-shirt?

France 1938: Fantastic looking poster and the message couldn't be any clearer. Great stuff.

Chile 1962: Still looks modern, which is a sure sign of good design.

Mexico 1970: Simple, nice font. Brilliant.

Argentina 1978: Simple and effective.

Mexico 1986: OK, it's arguably a remodelling of the earlier design, but why not? Still looks great.
