[Green Designs] Reduce, Reuse, Recycle…Rethink, Repair, Redesign

We all know, and hopefully practise, the 'three r's' of reducing, reusing and recycling, but why stop there? You can add a few more r's to your repertoire:

Rethink: Before you make a purchase, give it a little more thought to whether you really need the item(s) or not.

Repair: Get in touch with your inner DIY self and start repairing things before they head for the bin.

Redesign: This should appeal to readers of SFTE – instead of throwing something away because it looks a little tired, is there any way you can put a creative spin on repairing or reusing it?
