Showcasing over 140 galleries from Japan and overseas, the fourth edition of Art Fair Tokyo, which started in 2005, will be held April 3-5. Art Fair Tokyo is Japan's largest art fair, with last year's event
attracting 43,000 visitors over four days.
The event will be held at the Tokyo International
Forum, featuring a wide variety of genres of contemporary art,
modern paintings, nihonga, Asian works of art and antiques. A second venue, TOKYO BLDG.TOKIA, introduced due to the
increasing number of applicants received this year, will introduce young galleries, focusing on
cutting-edge contemporary art.
