Thanks to everybody for your mail and comments regarding Summer Sonic 2007. In answer to your questions, I should be talking to somebody from promoter Creativeman today so I hope to be able to let you know when tickets go on sale (or at least when the announcement will be made) soon. I can tell you that the dates have been confirmed as 11th & 12th August 2007 and that there will be an announcement regarding the lineup very shortly.

Further problems. For this year's Summer Sonic. It doesn't seem to be possible to purchase tickets from overseas. People have suggested that i get someone from Japan to buy them for me and then i can collect them but i don't know anyone in Japan. I know tickets aren't on sale yet, but in previous years tickets weren't available for people to order who weren't living in Japan, and it seems to be the same way this year. I looked at Fuji Rock too and that seems awfully complicated for a person living, say, in the UK, like myself.
Do you know of any way i could get around all the complication, and get tickets? Or will they not be available for people overseas?
Flights and accommodation are now booked too. It was a very naive thing to do, but i thought you could actually buy tickets from overseas.
Thanks for any info you may be able to give me.

I had the same problem last year. What I did was I contacted the hotel I was staying in and asked if they could receive and mail the tickets for me. I purchased the tickets through the Summer Sonic website and listed the address the hotel gave me. I received my tickets a week later in the mail.

You could buy the tickets online and email them to deliver the ticket to your hotel in Japan first. The hotel would keep your ticket and hand to you when your arrival.
