On my way home the other day, I stopped at a supermarket to get a drink and noticed 'こどもののみもの' (kodomononomimono "children's drink") on sale. The idea is that when dad (and possibly mum) is getting royally plastered, the kids can join in with booze made just for them, although I should point out that it doesn't contain any alcohol. The products, and the website, also feature some images that look like they were designed for North Korean propaganda campaigns.

You gotta be kidding, right? Is this real?!

It's true! I've seen it! They even have a beer one.
