Ranch Box

Ra01_2Ranch Box is a Tokyo-based design studio set up and run by Hitoshi Nakanishi and Chizuko Takinami. Their aim is to produce 'products, furniture and space to nourish people's minds with humour', which is evident in products like the Pillow Book Utopia, pictured.

More humour can be found on their website, which features inventive use of farmyard animals (I'm not kidding).

Ranch Box were also recently featured in this report on Japan Design Net.
